    Recertification

Original ICM designation (as an ICM Trainer) is valid for a period of three years from the time of passing the ICM examination. The “recertification” course is designed for individuals who would like to renew their original certification or refresh ICM principles. The ICM Recertification course is a concise, narrated, interactive web-based program which includes current best practices in care delivery, a review of key ICM principles, new disease specific guidelines and updated resources.

The course is structured as follows: eight self-paced web sessions, a recertification test (25 multiple choice questions) and health literacy tools, available for downloading at course completion. Attendees will receive five CEUs for nursing or behavioral health. This course is endorsed by the National Association of Home Health and Hospice (NAHC).

After passing the test, the recertification is valid for an additional three years.
